Not bad at all. Our first visit was tonight.
We ordered the spring rolls (sauce is a bit too spicy for my taste but other than that it was good), 2 sushi rolls (the California roll and the big papa) and 2 entrees (steak and steak & chicken combo). It was me, hubby and our 10 and 3 year old.
Soup was kind of bland but not horrible. Salad was small but just enough. I got the ginger dressing - great taste. Sushi was made fresh and tasted great. I love sushi :) haha. Entrees were a good size and were fresh, too. We were able to share it all and have leftovers. Friendly waitresses. Cute decor. Not too big. They are closed on Mondays.
The only thing I snapped a picture of was the sushi. For all that it was $56 plus tip (of course). Not bad at all. We'll be back! -

You walk in and it looks great! Locals had recommended it.
That's where it ends. I had to walk back into the kitchen to get service.
The clear soup was the best I've ever had.
Ordered the spicy tuna.. no. It was tuna with sauce on top. Pure. Laziness. If the "sushi chef" is too lazy to mix the sauces -then make the roll. But no just make a tuna roll and put the sauce on top. Laziness. (I'll include pic).
This is a first. I didn't finish. Just wanted to leave. Then AGAIN I had to go back into the kitchen to get ANY server so I could paid my bill.
Sorry. Go to a grocery store. You'll get better service, and higher quality sushi. Except for the clear soup. That was delicious. -

We've tried this place several times in Hope's that it would satisfy us. The sushi rolls were always falling apart and I also felt like they put too much rice wine vinegar in their rice and it always came out sour tasting. The rice was also very hard and the japanese food could be better. The service though is great and they're always so sweet, but it's not our go to.

My first visit to Fuji Moto. I don't know if there will be another one, but it was an odd experience. I was buying lunch for a client nearby, and this is what they wanted. It's in an old strip retail shopping center that's less than 50% occupancy and a vape shop is the only open business within a space or two of the restaurant. Additionally, if you know Lexington, you know there aren't many options for good restaurants aside from their delicious barbecue joints. So I was wary of getting sushi here. I lived in Lexington briefly from 2001-2003 and back then this location was occupied by a Mexican restaurant. Fast forward 15 years, and much of the Latin American-inspired decor remains... even though it's an Asian restaurant. The spanish language channel on the lobby tv was playing World Cup highlights (which I loved) and I heard several of the staff chatting in Spanish while I waited for my takeout order. They were all very nice people, but it was an interesting and slightly confusing mix of culture.
My order took FOREVER. When I placed the order by phone from my client's office, I was told 20 minutes. I arrived in 15, and I waited another 30 minutes for the food. They cashier apologized repeatedly, and thankfully I wasn't in a huge hurry. When I finally got the sushi back to the office everyone seemed pleased with their food. I just got a couple of standard rolls (California, Tiger, and something else I can't remember). They were fine. Not the best sushi ever, but not terrible. There's not much else to say. But if you're in Lexington and you find yourself craving sushi, Fuji Moto will do in a pinch. -

This is our favorite go to for hibachi. The portions are perfect, the wait staff is always friendly. We have been here probably 4 times so far and we really like it. Interior could use some updating but the food is great.
